Students’ International Scientific-Practical Conference


The Conference will be held on 10th November 2011
at Utena University of Applied Sciences, the Faculty of Business and Technologies, J. Basanavičiaus Str. 56, Utena, Lithuania


We kindly invite you to participate in the international students’ scientific-practical conference
„A country, that is good to live in”
The aim of the conference is to introduce the environment protection, economy, social and cultural aspects of the country, to highlight the initiatives and good know-how of the society, enterprises, companies and the youth in order to ensure sustainable development of the country.
· The following are the themes of the conference: Image of the country and the factors forming it
· Natural environment and possibilities for its saving and preserving
· Competitive ability of enterprises and the expression of social responsibility
· Organization of health and social care
· Cherishing and preserving the cultural heritage
Languages of the conference – Lithuanian, English, Russian.

The most important dates and deadlines:
By 20th October 2011 - Registration to the conference by filling in this registration form
By 18th October 2011 – Article submission by e-mail
By 4th November 2011 – Conference programme sent to its participants
10th November 2011, 10.00 a.m. – Conference starts

The form of conference presentation is an oral or a poster presentation. An oral presentation is based on the submitted article (the requirements for article development are attached to the invitation) and is presented by using multimedia or in some other form. The duration of an oral presentation is up to 10 minutes. A poster presentation is not read during the conference but is presented in a written form on A1 format page (with portrait orientation). The text information in a poster presentation is summarized to minimum. Diagrams, charts, photographs and illustrations may be enlarged in size and number comparing to the publication. In addition to poster presentations, devices, developed computer programmes and other creations may be exhibited.
The organizing committee of the conference invites to submit the poster presentations on the conference day before the event starts.
The submitted articles will not be reviewed or edited. Conference materials will be issued in a CD and delivered to the authors during the conference. Conference materials and articles meeting the requirements following the author’s(s’) wish will be published in periodical magazine of reviewed scientific articles „Įžvalgos” ( Eng. Insights) (ISSN) issued by Utena University of Applied Sciences.
